About This Spot

Stepping into The Nomad & The Bean feels like slipping into a gentle pause amid the rhythm of Copenhagen’s vibrant streets. Nestled on Holmbladsgade, the café offers a quiet nook where time slows just enough to savor the simple joys of good company, thoughtful conversation, and carefully crafted flavors. The soft hum of friendly chatter mingles with the inviting aroma of fresh coffee, creating a warm embrace that welcomes locals and wanderers alike.

This is a place where the pace is unhurried and the mood effortlessly calming. The interiors carry a hint of artistic charm—quirky touches and quiet corners invite moments of reflection or shared smiles over a table. The owner’s friendly presence adds a personal thread to the atmosphere, one that makes guests feel like they’re stepping into a gathering of old friends rather than just another café.

The experience here goes beyond a simple cup of coffee or breakfast plate. Whether it’s a rich, velvety hot chocolate crowned with marshmallows or a bright, refreshing ice coffee to shake off the morning chill, each drink feels thoughtfully made and quietly comforting. Breakfast items arrive with the same kind of care—a crisp granola bowl, a delicate slice of citron kage, or a generously portioned müesli crafted for lingering moments. These subtle treats become little discoveries as you settle into the café’s welcoming rhythm.

What truly stands out is the human connection woven throughout the visit. Conversations about beans and espresso-making often spring to life, inviting an intimate peek into the craft behind the counter. This genuine warmth turns a simple breakfast or mid-day coffee into a quietly memorable encounter, a feeling that lingers when you step back out into the city streets.

This cafe is fantastic! It’s cozy and nice, good food and drinks. I don’t even drink coffee but have the wonderful hot chocolate when I come here. With marshmallows on top, of course! The espresso making class is also so much fun! Mark, who is the most interesting and kind person by the way, will tell you everything you could possible want to know about beans and how to make a perfect espresso.

My friend and I were exploring and found this quaint little coffee shop. We were greeted and served by the owner. Great guy and wonderful food with fantastic atmosphere. Everything was terrific and I will visit again when in Copenhagen. Highly recommend!!

Amazing little cute cafe with interesting art and decor. We got the full breakfast to share and it was great. Best thing about the whole visit was the owner (i assume he is) though. Wonderful gentlemen who just radiates kindness and pleasantries. We will definitely be going back for more before we end our trip

A quirky little café with a relaxing and comforting atmosphere. The tea was great, the Belgian waffle was out of this world. The service was fabulous. If I didn't have plans I could have stayed for hours. I'm glad I did some research before going out to breakfast, I wholeheartedly recommend this place for a breather and I still have two days in the area, so I'll probably be back before I leave.

Lovely ambience and the big breakfast was delicious! Also, the guy running it was insanely friendly and put a lot of love into his little coffeshop. Will definitively come back :)

What a wonderful little coffee spot. Fantastic atmosphere and the owner is LOVELY. The breakfast is also delicious but you can't go wrong with just a good cup of coffee. I highly recommend!
